Shameka Dwight, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and composer. Her talent as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer are all evident in her self-penned and produced releases “Back Home” (2023), “Love UnMastered” (2020), and her debut album “Lovelations” (2011). Shameka also released a single with UK artist Jake Isaac titled “To Our Yesterday” (2022), contributed 5 songs to the Netflix hit show “First Kill” soundtrack, and wrote the title track for film “I’ll Be There (2024). Shameka’s latest release is the cinematic folk project “Where is Your Heart” 2026 through Universal Production music.

Others have described her music as refreshing, organic, authentic, and meaningful. Shameka’s ability to mix folk, soul, and ambient styles resulted in a sound that’s vintage, rich, and heartfelt. Topics of love, struggle, and self- worth continue to be the inspiration behind her pen. Shameka has recently composed original music for a number of short films including "Brothers" by Timothy Williams, "Colored Tags" by Johnathan Smith, "I'm Fine" by Chad Chambers, “the Knock” from Imani Mariaa and most recently “Blue” from Dayna Lynn North, receiving many accolades from film festival showings in the US.

Shameka Dwight partnered with Jeep for the nationwide “Release Your Renegade” campaign under the moniker Uri Grey, as an artist to watch out for. Her original song “Blend Out” was featured in the campaign, along with a :30 visual commercial that was distributed on jeep.com and other internet sites. She appeared on a number of TV productions including the BET Awards, the American Music Awards, Stand up 2 Cancer, and most recently CBS presents Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul. She also appeared in Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman” music video, and Marriott Bonvoy Commercial.

Shameka’s residencies include Quincy Jones’ Q’s Bar & Lounge in Dubai, UAE as a solo artist, and Cirque Du Soleil’s Mad Apple (Las Vegas) as a keyboardist, assistant band leader, and vocalist.
